After a recent visit to Mapungubwe, I realised that the recent history in general, and the history of the area as a military base specifically, is being ignored. Whatever the reasons may be – political, uncertainty of facts, sensitivities – this is a sad state of affairs and need to be corrected.
So, coming here, soon, some additional information on the recent history of Mapungubwe.
